Clive Staples Lewis, known by his pen name C.S. Lewis, was a British writer and scholar who is best known for his works of fantasy, including The Chronicles of Narnia. He was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on November 29, 1898 and died on November 22, 1963, in Oxford, England.
