Simon & Schuster is an American publishing company based in New York City that was founded in 1924 by Richard L. Simon and M. Lincoln Schuster. As of 2016, they are the third largest publisher in the United States and publish over 2,000 titles annually under 35 various imprints. Here at Books2Door, we have specially curated an extensive list of bestselling Simon and Schuster Books.

It was in 1924 when the company was first established after Richard Simon’s aunt, an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast, asked whether there was a crossword puzzle book by New York World - a popular newspaper company published at the time. After discovering a gap in the market, the pair decided to launch a company to exploit the opportunity. Instead of signing authors with a planned manuscript, the publishing company came up with their own ideas and hired authors to write content based on current fads and trends.

These are the perfect books for your older ones to read if your child is a fan of the ghoulish Goosebumps books

YA

These books are no strangers to the limelight as they hit BookTok by storm. Let’s start with the teen favourite: The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. In this deeply affecting coming-of-age story, the narrative explores the life of Charlie- a freshman. While he’s not the biggest geek in school, he is by no means popular either. Shy, introspective, intelligent beyond his years, yet socially awkward, he is a wallflower, trying to both live his life and run from it. But Charlie can’t stay on the sidelines forever. As he navigates family dramas and new friends, Charlie will learn to navigate the rocky waters of teenagehood. It has been adapted into the 2012 major motion picture starring Logan Lerman, Emma Watson and Ezra Miller.

Another BookTok sensation is the It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover 4 Books Collection

Set. These four paperback books are among Hoover’s most notable works, including Ugly Love, November 9, It Ends With Us and Verity.
