A Message for Santa Emily loves Christmas except for one thing, and that is Santa Claus. Emily wants to block up the chimney to prevent Santa entering the house, but, her mother inspires her to find another solution.
The Polar Express Late on Christmas Eve, after the town has gone to sleep, a boy boards a mysterious train that waits for him: the Polar Express bound for the North Pole. When he arrives there, Santa offers him any gift he desires. The boy modestly asks for one bell from the reindeer's harness. It turns out to be a very special gift, for only believers in Santa can hear it ring.
I was Made For You Cat was knitted by Mum out of the softest, fluffiest wool, and wrapped in shiny paper and a big, pink ribbon… but why was he made? When you are brand new, the world is full of questions, and if you are brave it can be full of answers too. Cat asks the wind, the stars and the trees for help, but it is only when he discovers love that he also finds his purpose.
I want Snow! When the Queen goes on a trip and sends back a photo of her feeding some penguins, Little Princess decides she wants snow too. The whole palace tries all kind of things - from sandmen instead of snowmen to mudballs instead of snowballs. Santa Claus vs the Easter Bunny Santa has it so easy: a workforce of elves to make the presents, a team of reindeer to deliver them, even a hi-spec factory! The Easter Bunny has to make and wrap all the chocolate eggs in his garden shed, and deliver them himself on foot. No wonder you often find them thrown all over the place in your garden! Now Bunny has had enough – he hatches a genius, chocolately plan with unexpected results.
The Bear's Winter House The bear is behaving very strangely indeed: collecting moss, logs and branches to build a winter house. The other animals think this is silly, and laugh at him, but when winter comes, bear is cosy in his winter house while the other animals suffer in the cold. Being a very kind bear, he invites the others in. Unfortunately for the bear, they are too excited to sleep, and it seems he will get no rest at all this winter! But when spring arrives, he finds a solution...
The Snow Beast Beast has been robbed! And so has the whole village. Without tools the villagers can't put on their legendary Winter Festival, so Beast sets off to solve the mystery. Discovering that a stranded Snow Beast is behind the robbery, Beast has to decide whether to help this odd-looking stranger.
Frog in Winter Frog is taken by surprise when winter comes. He doesn't understand why everything is covered with white and he skids and slips on the icy pond. He is too cold to take part in any of the joyous fun that Duck is having skating or that Hare is having throwing snowballs. The animals band together to equip Frog for enjoying winter, and later they share in his rejoicing when spring arrives.
A Little Bit of Winter It is autumn and time for Hedgehog's annual sleep. He asks Rabbit to save him a little bit of winter, so that when he wakes up he can see what it's like. But Rabbit is a forgetful animal. Will he keep his promise?
Elmer's Christmas It's two days before Christmas Eve, the night Papa Red visits, and the young elephants are very excited. They choose a tree to decorate and prepare the presents for Papa Red to collect during the night to take to those who need them. But this year Elmer has a special treat in store for the young elephants, if they can keep quiet and out of sight...
