Percy Jackson: Ultimate Collection is among our all-time favourites and bestsellers. It’s a fantastic set and an excellent choice if you’re looking for kids books for ages 7-9 or books for older kids looking to read a more mature story.

Percy Jackson didn’t know he was a demigod until he was thrust into a life of adventure. With his friends at Camp Half-Blood, he must overcome various challenges in this series ripped from the pages of Greek mythology. This collection contains all five Percy Jackson books by Rick Riordan, soon to be a TV series on Disney+.

About Percy Jackson
The series follows Percy Jackson, who is a demigod. Percy Jackson is the son of the human Sally Jackson and the Greek god Poseidon. At the beginning of the series, he is just a 12-year-old boy. Despite being born with the advantages of being a demigod, Percy has experienced some hardships growing up, having been diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. His body and mind are entirely focused on being a fighter, with his Ancient Greek blood and his reflexes of being on the battlefield.

He first appeared in the novel Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief. Percy is portrayed as someone challenging to figure out, constantly changing and adapting just like the sea. Percy is very loyal and holds his family and friends close to his heart. Percy Jackson gets stronger and becomes more capable in his abilities throughout the series. He starts forming hurricanes, manipulating water, surviving underwater and talking to fish and horses. As the series progresses, Percy develops from a young boy into a strong leader, a fighter, a skilled swordsman. Percy Jackson proves himself to be more than capable in combat and leadership and eventually leads as head counsellor of the Poseidon cabin at the demigod summer camp.

Percy Jackson is the son of Poseidon, one of the big three, with the other two being Hades and Zeus. Because of this, Percy Jackson is among the strongest of his demigod friends, with birth-gifted abilities to change the tides and currents. Percy also has super senses and strengths, particularly near water. Percy’s weapon of choice is the Riptide called the Anaklusmos. It is a sword made of celestial bronze, which was gifted to Percy by Chiron the centaur on the order of Poseidon.

About Rick Riordan
Rick Riordan was born in 1964 in San Antonio, Texas. He’s been publishing books since 1997, including the Edgar Award-winning private eye series Tres Navarre. He got the idea for the massively successful Percy Jackson books from making up bedtime stories for his son. 20th Century Fox made two live-action films out of the books, and it’s being developed into a Disney+ series. Since completing the Percy Jackson quintet, Riordan has created two spin-off series set in the same universe.

Description :

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief
Look, I didn't want to be a half-blood. I never asked to be the son of a Greek god. I was just a normal kid, going to school, playing basketball, skateboarding. The usual. Until I accidentally vaporized my maths teacher. That's when things started really going wrong. Now I spend my time fighting with swords, battling monsters with my friends and generally trying to stay alive. This is the one where Zeus, God of the Sky, thinks I've stolen his lightning bolt - and making Zeus angry is a very bad idea...

Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters
You can't tell by looking at me that my dad is Poseidon, God of the Sea. It's not easy being a half-blood these days. You mortals can't even see the monsters we have to fight all the time. So when a game of dodgeball turned into a death match against an ugly gang of cannibal giants, I couldn't exactly ask my gym teacher for help. And that was just for starters. This is the one where Camp Half Blood is under attack, and unless I get my hands on the Golden Fleece, the whole camp will be invaded by monsters. Big ones. Can Percy survive the treacherous Sea of Monsters and restore order to Half-Blood Hill?

Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse
It's the last Friday before the winter holidays but Percy Jackson isn't at school: he's battling the fearsome Manticore (half human, half lion), which in itself isn't ideal . . . but with Annabeth missing and the goddess of the hunt held captive, things get a whole lot more serious . . . Greek mythology relocated to modern-day America. Action-packed, funny, accessible writing for both boys and girls aged 10+. Perfect for fans of Harry Potter and Artemis Fowl.

Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth
Honestly, blowing up another school was the last thing I wanted to do. As the son of a Greek god, I've had my share of near-death disaster. This summer, I didn't choose to battle the cheerleading squad, but when two hissing she-devils with fangs are heading straight for you, what's a half-blood meant to do? That was just the beginning. This is the one where my arch-enemy, Luke, is looking for a way to invade our camp via an ancient labyrinth. If he succeeds, thousands of bloodthirsty monsters will attack. So it's goodbye sunshine, hello darkness as four of us descend into the terrifying underground and beyond.

Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian
Most people get presents on their sixteenth birthday. I get a prophecy that could save or destroy the world. That's how it is when you're the son of Poseidon, God of the Sea. According to an ancient prophecy, bad things will happen when I turn sixteen - because I'm the one who gets to decide the fate of the entire world. But no pressure. This is the one where Kronos, Lord of the Titans, is beginning his attack on New York City, where Mount Olympus stands virtually unguarded. Oh, and the dreaded (and not to mention enormous) monster Typhon is also heading our way. So it's me and forty of my demigod friends versus untold evil...
