The That's Not My... board book series is a collection of touch-and-feel books for young children created by author Fiona Watt and illustrator Rachel Wells. Each book in the series focuses on a different object or animal and is designed to help toddlers develop their sensory skills while enjoying a fun, interactive reading experience.

Included in this set is That's Not My Santa which is a delightful board book. The book is perfect for young children, particularly babies and toddlers, as it features thick cardboard pages that are easy to turn and a simple yet engaging story that captures their attention.

The book follows the journey of a little mouse as it looks for the perfect Santa. The mouse explores various textures and descriptions of different Santas on each page, and children are encouraged to touch and feel the textures on the page to help the mouse find the right Santa. The book includes textures like soft beards, fluffy hats, and velvety suits, which add an interactive and sensory dimension to the story, making it an engaging and interactive reading experience for children.

The bright and colourful illustrations are captivating and are designed to appeal to young children. The simple sentences are easy to understand and read aloud, making it a great choice for parents and caregivers to read to their little ones. The book also helps to develop a child's tactile and sensory skills as they explore the different textures on each page.

That's Not My Christmas collection is a charming and fun board book set perfect for introducing young children to the magic of Christmas. It is an excellent addition to any child's book collection and makes for a wonderful gift during the holiday season. The book provides a great opportunity for parents and caregivers to bond with their little ones as they read and interact with the story together.

That's Not My Reindeer is also included in this book set. The book tells the story of a little mouse searching for its reindeer, and every page introduces a different reindeer with unique textures meant to be explored by the reader. The text is simple and repetitive, which is perfect for young children as it encourages them to participate and engage with the story. The book uses many descriptive language and sensory words to help children learn new words and develop their vocabulary.

The next book in the set is That's Not My Polar Bear. The book features a charming story that follows a little mouse on its quest to find its polar bear. Each page of the book introduces a new polar bear with a unique texture meant to be explored by the child. The book encourages the child to touch and feel the different textures on each page, such as the fluffy fur, bumpy nose, and scratchy paws. The illustrations in the book are bright and eye-catching, featuring adorable and colourful images of polar bears that are sure to captivate young readers. The text is simple and repetitive, making it easy for young children to understand and participate in the story.

Another fantastic little story in this collection is That's Not My Penguin. As the title suggests, each penguin in the book is not quite right for the narrator, with features such as a too-fluffy belly or too-bumpy feet. But at the end of the book, the perfect penguin is finally found and revealed, creating a satisfying conclusion for young readers.

The last book in this collection is That's Not My Elf. Similar to the other books in this series, the book features various elves on each page, each with its unique characteristics, such as fluffy hats or sparkly boots. The interactive touch and feel panels on each page engage young readers, encouraging them to explore and discover different textures, such as rough, soft or bumpy.
