Simon & Schuster is an American publishing company based in New York City that was founded in 1924 by Richard L. Simon and M. Lincoln Schuster. As of 2016, they are the third largest publisher in the United States and publish over 2,000 titles annually under 35 various imprints. It was in 1924 when the company was first established after Richard Simon’s aunt, an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast, asked whether there was a crossword puzzle book by New York World - a popular newspaper company published at the time. After discovering a gap in the market, the pair decided to launch a company to exploit the opportunity. These are the perfect books for your older ones to read if your child is a fan of the ghoulish Goosebumps books.

These books are no strangers to the limelight as they hit BookTok by storm. Let’s start with the teen favourite: The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky.
