Read Our Story โFirst time using Books2Door and was very surprised how quick the delivery was. My books arrived in brand new perfect condition. There is no fault with my order and will use this company again.
Books arrived in a perfect condition, thank you. Well packed with extra stuffing so that books don't move around in the box during the transit. I look after all of my books well. I dont like dents and scuffs marks etc Therefore I greatly appreciate the fact that someone paid care to ensure books reach a customer in a perfect condition.
Fabulous! Had a couple of books from this store. I got a free book ( think it was for world book day), for my little granddaughter. Highly recommend this book store.
Absolutely fantastic! Why did I not know about this place before. Ordered a huge order and the price was even cheaper than amazon. Shall always start my book search here in future.
I am a repeat customer for Books 2 Door Limited and have always found them reliable and fantastic value. Delivery is prompt. Packaging is functional. There is always a great choice of books and they offer excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
Great service from the company. Item as described and great value for money. Sent well packed and very fast delivery. Would definitely recommend and will use again
I was a bit nervous that it might be a scam seeing the huge discounts on whole collections of books, but what a pleasant surprise! Brand new books delivered quickly, well packaged (and corners well protected!) for an amazing price. I already look forward to my next order. One minus point, the iPhone app seems to be bugging. The same account credentials used on the website do not display my former order or wishlists.
I've ordered from this website multiple times and every single time the order is super quick and easy. Books come in fantastic edition and there are so many incredible deals, discounts and rewards. I've only had one error out of all of my orders, and their customer service team were quick to help rectify the situation. I would 1000% recommend as a book lover!
I had a great experience ordering from this website. Everything was smooth and easy, from browsing to checkout. The order arrived exactly as expected and the everything was excellent. Overall, a very reliable website and a great online shopping experience. Highly recommended!
I found Book 2 Door Limited, and it was the best thing yet. The many books to choose from, and the prices are really great, I managed to get the books, I was looking for and more, for my family, at such a fantastic price. I highly recommended, Books 2 Door, for everyone who reads, you will not regret it. They provide a wonderful service, what a shop, I love it.

What order should I read the Sharpe books?
The first Sharpe novel was published in 1981, and since then it has grown to a 22-book series, stretching across more than two decades of history. The Sharpe books have now been republished in their chronological order, making it easier than ever to follow Sharpe's adventures throughย Portugal, Spain, and beyond. However, the books were written out of sequence, as you will see below.
Sharpe'sย first published adventure wasย Sharpe's Eagle, which took place during the Talavera campaign in July 1809. Cornwell originally planned to only write eleven novels, matching Forester, and achieved this withย Sharpe's Waterloo in 1990 by publishing a new book every year. The series followed chronologically fromย Eagle,ย covering the period between 1809 and 1815, except forย Sharpe'sย Riflesย which was a prequel, and is Sharpe's first adventure on the Iberian Peninsula.
However, Sharpe wasn't done with his creator yet. A twelfth novel,ย Sharpe's Devil, was published in 1992, and picked up the story five years after the Battle of Waterloo, with Sharpe encountering the exiled Napoleon. The TV series began in 1993,ย adaptingย the first eleven books along with two original stories. During this timeย a brand new novelย Sharpe's Battle was published, and was filmed the same year (1995).
The final episode of the TV series was released in 1997, as was the first of five prequels to the original series published over five years. The first three follow Sharpe's campaign in India, from 1799 to 1803, and feature the young private a decade before his most famous adventures. The fourth book detailed his involvement in Trafalgar in 1805, and the fifth his actions at the Siege of Copenhagen in 1807. You can read these books first, or you can start withย Sharpe's Rifles and come back to them later.
Three further books were published between 2003 and 2006, all set between other novels in the series. After these three books, Cornwell's attention turned to the Saxon Stories. The first of these was published in 2004, and they were later filmed asย The Last Kingdom. The Sharpe TV series returned for two final adventures in 2006 and 2008, loosely adapting the Indian trilogy.
The Sharpe book seriesย made a surprise return in 2021 with its 22nd full-length novel, Sharpe's Assassin, set immediately after the events in Sharpe's Waterloo.ย Sharpe's Command is forthcoming, and is set in 1812 after the events of Sharpe's Sword.
