Back-to-school season is the most daunting time of year for parents and children, regardless of age. It’s time to pack the school bags and splash out on that back-to-school essentials. Whether your child is strapping on a backpack for the first time or beginning a new academic year, the first day of school can be nerve-wracking for even the most confident pupils. The idea of transitioning to a new school and establishing a new routine can be extremely daunting at the best of times. These books explore important messages about some of the big feelings your child may be experiencing as they grow and adjust to their new environment.

Lucky for you, he’s done it all! Jeff Kinney’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid books are a household name and is considered one of the best children’s books, and zoo-wee mama is it a hit! Fans of the live-action and animated adaptations are already familiar with the daily adventures of Greg Heffley and his best friend Rowley as they traverse their way through Westmore middle school. Told through diary entries and wacky illustrations, this book explores the stresses of growing up.
