Read Our Story βFirst time using Books2Door and was very surprised how quick the delivery was. My books arrived in brand new perfect condition. There is no fault with my order and will use this company again.
Books arrived in a perfect condition, thank you. Well packed with extra stuffing so that books don't move around in the box during the transit. I look after all of my books well. I dont like dents and scuffs marks etc Therefore I greatly appreciate the fact that someone paid care to ensure books reach a customer in a perfect condition.
Fabulous! Had a couple of books from this store. I got a free book ( think it was for world book day), for my little granddaughter. Highly recommend this book store.
Absolutely fantastic! Why did I not know about this place before. Ordered a huge order and the price was even cheaper than amazon. Shall always start my book search here in future.
I am a repeat customer for Books 2 Door Limited and have always found them reliable and fantastic value. Delivery is prompt. Packaging is functional. There is always a great choice of books and they offer excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
Great service from the company. Item as described and great value for money. Sent well packed and very fast delivery. Would definitely recommend and will use again
I was a bit nervous that it might be a scam seeing the huge discounts on whole collections of books, but what a pleasant surprise! Brand new books delivered quickly, well packaged (and corners well protected!) for an amazing price. I already look forward to my next order. One minus point, the iPhone app seems to be bugging. The same account credentials used on the website do not display my former order or wishlists.
I've ordered from this website multiple times and every single time the order is super quick and easy. Books come in fantastic edition and there are so many incredible deals, discounts and rewards. I've only had one error out of all of my orders, and their customer service team were quick to help rectify the situation. I would 1000% recommend as a book lover!
I had a great experience ordering from this website. Everything was smooth and easy, from browsing to checkout. The order arrived exactly as expected and the everything was excellent. Overall, a very reliable website and a great online shopping experience. Highly recommended!

View full detailsThis collection has been curated to showcase the work of the bestselling author Kazuo Ishiguro. Heβs one of the leading authors of literary fiction in the UK and appeals to both adult and young adult audiences. The central themes of his novels surround abstract concepts such as time, memory, loss and lifelong deception - particularly its unreliability in narratives. A lot of his work focuses on the manipulation of human desire and how human beings reinterpret their own world from which they are estranged. His work moves freely across genres, including fantasy, magical realism and SF.

Kazuo Ishiguroβs most notable works
If youβre not sure where to start, let us help to give you a few handy recommendations to get you going. Why not check out his latest dystopian science fiction work, Klara and the Sun? Published in 2021, the book is told from the viewpoint of the titular character, Klara, a solar-powered AF (Artificial Friend).Β
Klara has been chosen by Josie, a sickly child, to be her android companion and caretaker. Through the window of a store for which she is for sale, Klara learns about the world through outstanding observation qualities and watches the Sun, often referring to it as a physical entity. In the growing days, as Josie almost reaches the brink of death, she implores the Sun to heal and save her. Ishiguro presents an accurate insight into the human experience through the eyes of an unforgettable narrator to answer the fundamental question: what does it mean to love?
One of Ishiguroβs most popular books is Never Let Me Go. In a dystopian version of late 1990s England. The book follows Kathyβs perspective as she attempts to come to terms with her childhood and upbringing and towards a bleak fate that awaits her and her closest friends. Ishiguro masterfully presents the fragility of life, identity, empathy and friendship in this novel. Time named it the best novel of 2005 and one of the top 100 novels published since 1923. The book has also been adapted into the 2010 film of the same name, directed by Mark Romanek and starring Cary Milligan, Andrew Garfield and Keira Knightley.Β
