Jigsaw puzzles come in a set of varied, irregularly shaped pieces that when properly assembled, form a complete picture or a map. The Jigsaw puzzles are so named because the original picture attached to wood or paperboard is cut into random pieces using a jigsaw, which cuts intricate lines and curves. These cut-out pieces are carefully and intricately cut in a way such that when put together; they complete a picture.
