Founded in 1826 by Louis Hachette, Hachette books has quickly become one of the leading publishing houses around the world. Since its founding, Hachette has gone on to publish countless books. In one year, Hachette published approximately 1400+ adult books, 300 books for young readers, and 450 audiobook titles. In 2017, the company had 167 books on the New York Times bestseller list, 34 of which reached number 1. 

Famous Children's Titles

The Adventures of Asterix is one of the best-selling graphic novel series. The series has fans across the globe since the first comic was published in 1959. The stories are set in 50 BC as Asterix and friends fight off the Romans' attempts to conquer the village.

Young Adult Bestsellers

In 2005, Stephanie Meyer released the first of her "brooding vampire meets angsty teenager" series, beginning the Twilight phenomenon. There are five books in the series, one short story and five highly popular movies starring Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan and Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen. Michael Connelly is one of the leading figureheads in crime writing. His Detective Harry Bosch series follows LAPD homicide detective Harry Bosch as he tries to uncover the truth behind the crimes. It has been adapted into a series on Prime Video called Bosch. The show ran from 2014-2021 and starred Titus Welliver in the titular role. 

The Dark Tower by Stephen King is an internationally bestselling fantasy series. The world-famous author has put his name to many successful novels over the years, but The Dark Tower series has remained a fan favourite.
