An exciting, inspiring story based on a real-life animal rescue. When Sarah and her family find a box on the side of the road, the last thing they expect to find inside is a bunny! It's all alone, so they call the RSPCA. An RSPCA Inspector arrives to take the bunny to a local centre for treatment. She's thin and cold, and needs looking after, but the RSPCA know just what to do. The bunny makes a good recovery and meets a special furry friend along the way.

Little owl needs a home

Josh has made an unexpected discovery - four baby owls! Their home has been destroyed, and now the tiny owls have nowhere to live! There's no sign of the parent owls, and the baby owls are getting colder and hungrier, so Josh and his mother call the RSPCA. A rescue ensues, followed by an attempted hand feeding. But the RSPCA must move the baby owls to another nest if they are to have a chance of survival. Finding a new home for the owls won't be easy, but Josh is more than happy to help.

The Abandoned Kitten

Eight-year-old Lily is always surrounded by animals. Her mum works at an RSPCA centre as an Animal Care Assistant. Lily thinks it's the best job ever. Sometimes Mum has to care for animals at home, and on one rainy evening, Mum arrives with three tiny kittens. The poor things have been abandoned, and Lily and Mum must stay up through the night to look after them. But there's another member of Lily's family that wants to help - Poppy their crossbreed dog gently mothers the kittens in their basket. Poppy was brought to the RSPCA as a tiny puppy and was hand reared herself. Together, Mum, Lily and Poppy will be able to nurse the kittens back to health.

Pickle can't be found. And then Emily hears a tiny yap - it's Pickle! But he's fallen into an old mineshaft. The RSPCA come to help, and the fire brigade. They will have to send a winch down and try to coax Pickle into the harness. At first Pickle doesn't get in, but then they send his blanket down and Emily shouts "get in your basket". Pickle gets in and is pulled out safely!

Little lost Hedgehog

Grace is out in the garden feeding her rabbits when she hears a rustle in the flower bed. What could it be? She sits very still by the kitchen door, peering out into the dark. And then she sees some little paws, two shiny eyes, a twitching nose... it's a tiny hedgehog! But where is its family? This little hedgehog looks lost and hungry. So Grace's mum calls the RSPCA who come and collect it. They take it back to their centre and nurse it back to health.
